DC vs MI the 16th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will be played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Tuesday (April 11). Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians are the only two teams who are yet to win single match in IPL 2023. Both the teams would be eyeing their first win in the Indian Premier League 2023. At the same time, Delhi would like to win in today’s match against Mumbai Indians, disappointed with three consecutive defeats. Mumbai Indians have also lost their opening two matches in the Indian Premier League 2023 and will be eyeing to avoid a hat-trick of defeats.

Delhi Capitals Missed their regular captain

Delhi Capitals have had a tough start to IPL 2023 season. Delhi is clearly missing its charming captain and wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant. Pant has been ruled out of the entire IPL 2023 tournament after being badly injured in a car accident. In his absence, the Delhi team is struggling to increase the run rate in the middle overs of the match. While as wicketkeeper, team has given chances to Sarfaraz Khan in the first match and Abishek Porel in the remaining two matches, who do not have much experience of wicket keeping in such big matches.

DC and MI Performances yet IPL 2023

DC suffered a disappointing 57-run defeat in their previous match against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium. David Warner (65) was the highest run-scorer for DC and found no support from his fellow-mates. Whereas, MI lost their previous match to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by seven wickets. Barring Tilak Verma, no batsman has crossed the 50-run mark for the Mumbai team so far and the bowlers have also failed to defend the set target.

Delhi Capitals vs Mumbai Indians: Injury and Available player

Khaleel Ahmed, Mitchell Marsh not available for Delhi Capitals. Pacer Khaleel Ahmed is yet to fully recover from injury and Australian all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has gone home to get married so both these players will be unavailable for today’s match against Mumbai Indians.

Archer missed MI’s last match due to pain in his right elbow. This is the old injury of Jofra Archer due to which he has been away from cricket for some time, today there is a doubt about Archer being fully fit for the match against Delhi Capitals.
