27 October 1997 Married Mumbai, Maharashtra, India 97

In Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, on October 22, 1997, Sarfaraz Khan was born. He plays cricket for India’s national team. He is a leg-break spinner bowler and an aggressive batsman with his right hand. He participated in the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup in both 2014 and 2016. He participated for Mumbai in the Sarfaraz Khan Ranji Trophy and for the Delhi Capitals in the IPL.

Among the many Mumbai-born child prodigies, Sarfaraz Khan made his debut at the age of 17. Sarfaraz Khan ‘s cricket career started early thanks to his father Naushad Khan, a renowned coach and former Mumbai cricketer who developed players like Kamran Khan and Iqbal Abdullah. Sarfaraz Khan, who is well-known for his eccentric and creative batting, debuted in the first class in 2014 and competed for the Indian Under-19 teams in the World Cups of 2014 and 2016.

When Sarfaraz Khan scored an incredible 439 in his first-ever Harris Shield match in 2009, the world began to take notice. He broke a record set by Sachin Tendulkar in 1988 at the age of just twelve. Sarfaraz Khan was quickly thrown into the Mumbai U19 team, and thanks to his contributions there, he was selected for the Indian U19 team.

Sarfaraz Khan  played in two U19 World Cups and amassed 566 runs at an incredible average of 70.75 while batting in the middle order. Only Eoin Morgan (606 runs) and Babar Azam (585 runs) have scored more than he has. Having hit seven fifty-score runs in two editions of the U19 Cricket World Cup, he has the distinct record for most such runs.

Sarfaraz Khan persisted in his erratic behavior. After making some offensive gestures towards a group of selectors following an U19 game, his match fees for the 2014–15 season were withheld. Therefore, it was not shocking when Sarfaraz Khan chose to leave Mumbai and become an Uttar Pradesh supporter following the 2014–15 season

Sarfaraz Khan ‘s cause was not advanced by two rather dull seasons in Uttar Pradesh. For the 2019–20 season, he returned to Mumbai, and that was when he truly came of age. In the next two seasons, he played absolutely brilliant batting. His stats following two seasons back home were astounding, and he became just the third batsman to score more than 900 runs in two consecutive Ranji seasons, behind Wasim Jaffer and Ajay Sharma.

Sarfaraz Khan had begun as a plump child but his trials had made him a formidable willow-wielding beast in domestic cricket. Sarfaraz Khan hasn’t had many chances to show off his skills on a larger platform, but he’s been working hard on the field to smash through barriers and advance to the next level.
